In 1980, Len Van Otterloo and Chuck Ver Steeg established Valley Machining Company (VMC) in Rock Valley, Iowa. VMC is a manufacturer of custom-machined products and assemblies.

Through innovative ideas & progressive attitude, VMC has become a world-class supplier.

Over the years Valley Machining grew from an Iowa area supplier of screw machine products to a Midwest supplier of screw machine and precision CNC machining. Today Valley supplies precision screw machine products, CNC lathe and CNC mill products and assemblies across North America and exports around the world.

VMC became an "Employee Owned" company in 1997.

Valley's current employee count is 65.
